This vintage statement necklace features ancient faience "mummy beads" accented by a molded ceramic disk. The tubular beads are made of sintered quartz with a self-glazing copper finish. Over millennia, the glaze has worn away to reveal a porous, sandy-tan core with small patches of historic blue and green. Strung on twisted cord with a patinated brass clasp, the piece retains its original mid-century charm.
Necklace length is 19 inches. Focal bead is 11x20mm.
