Soft shades of Blue, Pink, White and Green contrast the highly polished black hardstone background in this large and impressive Pietra Dura piece. Morning Glories with open bells and furled buds are set among graceful heart-shaped leaves. The setting is a gold partial bezel embellished with twisted gold wire. It can be worn as a pin or on a chain. 2.25 x 1.75 inches. Stamped 14k. The stone is likely a Victorian grand tour piece set into a more modern frame with a safety clasp and necklace adaptor.
