A simple and elegant guilloche enamel and sterling silver pin, circa early 20th century. . The design is an open rectangular buckle (perhaps made to match a sash), slightly convex. The surface is guilloche enamel in ivory with navy blue borders and golden Fleur de Lis, on sterling silver. Stamped with several English hallmarks and STERLING. Has 2 tiny nicks that are hard to see without magnification. Wide tube hinge. Rather than the expected C clasp it has a safety clasp, most likely a replacement and expertly done. Measures 2 inches by 1.5 inches at widest points. Weight: 14.4 grams
