Earrings composed of vintage carved translucent Nephrite Jade moth ornaments and Chinese enamel vermeil filigree beads. The moths are hand carved and are smooth on the back. . Ear wires and fine chain are gold filled. Earrings hang 2 1/2 inches from top of ear wire and are 2 inches wide.

The Moth ornaments are very lightweight. Each earring is a comfortable 5 grams.

The jade moth carvings were obtained from a jewelry dealer's estate. Age is uncertain. Most likely date from early to mid 20th century.
