Rare old Chinese wound glass 17.5-20mm round bead in opaque yellow with a tinge of green. Beads have a 3.25mm+ stringing hole. These beads date from the early 20th century. The were acquired from a collector who purchased them in San Francisco in the 1960s.  While  popularly called Peking glass they are not true Peking glass. These beads have the distinctive soft gemstone colors and bubbles of old Chinese glass made in Boshan, Shandong province in China. Package of 1
