This necklace features a beautiful combination of Japanese pink Angelskin Coral and small, lustrous vintage semi-baroque freshwater pearls. The intricate carving, created in Japan, depicts a vine of flowers and leaves elegantly wrapped around a branch. The back of the carving is smooth. The pearls are well matched at 6.4mm and exhibit excellent orient, each individually knotted and interspersed with pink Angelskin coral beads. The coral used is natural and untreated. The carving measures 50mm x 10mm x 8mm. This necklace has been carefully assembled using coral acquired in Japan during the 1970s and pearls obtained in Hong Kong in the 1980s. It is strung on silk thread.  It has a length of 20 inches and is finished with a 14k gold-filled box clasp that includes a safety lock. The total weight of the necklace is 28 grams.
