Layered Brass, Red Glass Necklace, 20th century. j-nled500

An early 20th century pendant necklace in layers of metal ornaments and ruby red glass stones.  The pendant  is a stunning example  of  old Bohemian Gürtler metal working where layers of metal work are assembled for texture and depth. This one is particularly fine.  The pendant measures 1.5 inches wide  and hangs from 2 complementary links that are graduated in size. Following are 3 beautiful granulated filigree oval beads ending in chain and  a box clasp with matching stone.  Necklace is 18.5 inches in length. Excellent condition.
