Vintage Chinese wound glass beads in a translucent intense pink. 1980s.  9.5mm, 0.9mm hole.  Package of 10.

These beads are popularly called Peking glass but are not true Peking glass. These have the soft colors and bubbles of old Chinese glass. Before 1911, a finer version of the beads of this type were used in Mandarin Court jewelry.
