Antique Bangle Bracelet, South India, sterling silver hinged . j-brvs983

This beautiful bangle bracelet is from the early part of the twentieth century and comes from the South of India or the more central Madhya Pradesh area. It has intricate applied silver decorations at the front and the back hinge and a screw pin in the middle.  It is made of high grade silver. Inner circumference is 6-7/8 inches. Width at the widest point is 1 inch and 5/8 inch at the hinge.  Weight is 58 grams.
