Antique Meiji period Japanese Satsuma pendant. The pottery is set in sterling silver with a bail at the top of the back. The hand painting is very fine in a foliar design with swirls of white, red and gold with a back ground of green leaves and gold. Blue border with gold design. 1.6 inches diameter. (41.3mm). 9mm in thickness. Very good antique condition.
Slip a ribbon or a chain into the bail and its ready to wear.
