Antique Japanese Satsuma ceramic pendant set in a sterling silver gold wash vermeil. It is strung with dark blue round Lapis Lazuli, white bone and old sterling silver goldwash vermeil beads. The octagonal pendant is encased in a sterling silver vermeil back, marked with the artist's chop. It showcases the signature cream color and fine crackle in the glaze. The delicate enamel painting illustrates a bush with golden braches and leaves with coloorful flowers.  A golden bird pecks seeds off the the ground next to the foliage. The border consists of a thin band of gold  and wider dark blue border. The 17 inch necklace is finished with a carved bone barrel clasp.   The Satsuma pendant measures 1.9 x .4 inches
