Genuine Antique Qing Dynasty porcelain shard pendant, 100-300 years old. 1.5 x 0.9 inches. Wrapped in a gold plate over copper band with a bail. These pendants were originally acquired by a collector who purchased them in China in the early 1980s. A bit of history:  During Mao Tse Tung's Cultural Revolution, many beautiful objects of art and jewelry were destroyed. In the 1980s, the broken pottery fragments were salvaged and reworked into jewelry, boxes, and other art objects.
