Antique Chinese carved jadeite drop earrings with freshwater pearls. erja926

These earrings feature two unique Chinese carved and pierced green jade ornaments circa 1900, which were originally used as sew-on decorations for hats and clothing. They are set in a gold-filled bezel and dangle from freshwater pearl coin beads. The ear wires are crafted from gold-wash sterling silver vermeil. The drop length of the pearl and jade is 1 5/8 inches, and the total length of the earring is 2 inches from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the jadeite disk. These earrings have been newly assembled from high-quality antique and vintage materials.
