intage Murano Moretti studio millefiori glass broad flat oval beads. C. 1920s. The beads made in the Murano studios 50+ years ago used glass canes (or murrine) that were much finer than those used today; The Murrine were denser and richer in color. These beads are becoming increasingly rare, especially the Moretti Studio beads. The size and shape of these beads are difficult to find.  Production ceased long ago.  Each bead is unique. Sold individually.
