Vintage Peking glass violet color sewing basket ring. 25mm. Pkg 1. b10-0414

From a collectors estate: Vintage Peking glass rings from early to mid 20th century in a beautiful opaque African violet color. The rings are slightly translucent and slightly irregular. Irregularity that only comes with handmade items. These were originally made as handles on Chinese sewing baskets and would look great as finger rings or on jewelry. They are flat on the inside and rounded on the outside. Outer diameter measures 25mm and is 6mm thick.

These rings are hand-made and some have slight irregularities in shape. Some may need a bath; they're quite old. You'll see lots of bubbles in them, one of the lovely features of old Peking glass.  pkg 1
