Rare old Naga tribal necklace, cobalt blue glass beads. j-nlet817cs

This is an authentic Naga necklace, traditionally worn by both men and women of the Konyak Naga tribe of Northeastern India. It is rare and composed of 54 strands of translucent cobalt blue glass beads that reflect light. At the center of each strand is 1.5 inches of multi-colored beads, some of which are Venetian whiteheart beads. The closure is a large Naga conch shell button toggle, with each strand gathered into the woven cotton panels at each end. Additionally, there are Venetian red whiteheart beads at each end of the necklace. The total length is 25 inches and the weight is 400 grams. It is in excellent, wearable condition.
