This Vintage Chinese double strand necklace features graduated knucklebone turquoise beads, each carefully strung and knotted. The largest bead measures 17mm x 14mm, while the smallest measures 9mm x 6mm. The pendant box clasp is crafted from vermeil—sterling silver coated in gold—and decorated with granules. The turquoise of this piece is of the highest quality and all-natural. The inner strand is 18" in length, and the necklace weighs 72 grams with 350 carats of top-grade turquoise. The clasp is 5/8"x1" and is marked with "SILVER." Est. mid-1900s.
