A stunning antique Persian chatelaine of 800 silver filigree with bezel set Persian turquoise stones. The central filigree ornament is two sided, it has the same row of turquoise stones on both front and back. The belt hook and cap for the claw tool also have small turquoise stones. The chatelaine tools are grooming tools: a claw pick, a tweezers, a needle-like awl and two other tools that look like nail grooming implements. 12.5 inches in length and 2 inches at the widest. Tests for 800 silver. there are no visible hallmarks. The style of the piece is distinctively Persian.
