Antique Meiji period Satsuma ceramic hexagonal pendant in gold wash sterling silver setting with silver loop on the back. It has the characteristic cream color and fine crackle in the glaze. The enamel work is really fine depicting a flock of white cranes. a beautiful golder crane is featured in the front of the flock. A dark blue border with gold enamel ornamentation completes the composition. 1 3/8 inches in diameter. Excellent condition. The characteristic Satsuma chop is stamped on the back. 3/8 inches in thickness. 13.9 gram weight.
