Antique Satsuma hexagonal pendant in sterling silver setting strung with knotted vintage blue lace agate beads and sterling silver fluted beads and finished with a sterling silver filigree box clasp. The Japanese Satsuma ceramic pendant carries the trademark "Satsuma chop", a mark that was used for marking genuine Satsuma ceramic. It has the characteristic cream color and fine crackle in the glaze. The enamel work is very fine, depicting a woman and child in kimono, walking among purple iris with green leaves. 1.7 inches in diameter. Necklace is 20 inches in circumference. Excellent condition.
