Phenolic resin "African Amber" oval bead from the African trade. These are old beads but exact age is unknown. Made in Germany , beads of this composition have been traded in Africa for over 100 years. These beads vary slighty in shape and size. 18-23mm long and 15-16mm wide. Stringing holes are 2.3mm to 3mm. Sold individually.
