Antique Japanese Satsuma Necklace with Three Ladies and Child. pdor431

Antique Satsuma pendant in gold wash sterling silver setting with french rope style gold plated chain, 16" long.  The Japanese Satsuma porcelain pendant is set in a fluted bezel with a gold wash. It is marked with a artists "chop" mark or signature. It has the characteristic cream color and fine crackle in the glaze. The enamel work is intricate, depicting three ladies and a child in kimono with a golden parasol.  A dark blue border with with gold enamel ornamentation completes the composition. 1 1/4 inches in diameter. Very good condition.
