Natural Taiwan Nephrite Jade, 6mm. Vintage Taiwan mined jade from the 1970s-1980s. Excellent quality; a rich dark green, good polish, evenly drilled and well matched.  6mm.  0.8mm stringing hole. These beads were purchased in Taiwan in the mid 1980s Package of 8.

The Taiwan mines closed and nephrite jade production ended by the late 1980s. New "Taiwan" jade  is not from Taiwan.
