Magnificent  antique  Art Nouveau gilt brass glass opal bracelet.  Czechoslovakia.  1918-early 1920s.  A very rare bracelet in amazing condition for its style and age. We have never seen one like it.  Classic Bohemian style with layers of brass filigree in the Gürtler construction unique to early Czechoslovakia jewelry.  The bracelet is studded with different size bezel set glass opals and small sapphire crystals set onto the gilt filigree leaves  that rest upon the larger oval opals.  There are enamel flowers along the edges of the links.  The clasp securely snaps shut.  There is a gold filled safety chain for extra security. The bracelet measures 5/8 inch wide and 7 inches long.

 Some of the tiny opals were missing and we replaced them with genuine opal stones.    There is a small amount of wear to the gilt finish.
