Vintage 18mm gem quality natural sodalite carved knot focal bead that was purchased in Hong Kong in the 1970s This material comes from Brazil and South Africa but had been imported to China to be cut as the standards in Asia in the 1970's - 1980's were far superior to beads being cut in India and this still holds true even today. This material is AA quality - pure sodalite of very fine color! It's a deep deep rich NAVY BLUE with a very high luster as you can see in the photographs.
