Vintage large Tibetan repousse sterling silver capped faux amber bead. 32x34mm. This bead was purchased in Nepal in the 1970s. Age uncertain, This amber bead dates to the 1960s or older and has far more character than the new beads being made today. Bead hole size on the silver cap averages 2.5mm. The size of the amber bead hole within may be slightly smaller.
