Vintage hand cut malachite bead necklace. nlbd1214

A necklace of fabulous irregular hand cut malachite beads graduated from 17mm to 11mm. The beads are wonderfully irregular in shape with gorgeous shades of green and a high polish. Some of the beads are banded, some are marbled. Shades of green from a rich teal to dark green. Each one is spectacular. Each bead is hand knotted. One smaller bead has a chip near the hole and that is not easily visible. Sterling silver embossed S clasp. 20.5 inches. 172.7 grams. The necklace is newly strung with vintage beads from the 1960's.
