Vintage black horn pendant and necklace with silver overlay. j-nlvn694

A vintage necklace composed of a chain of carved long flat horn ovals with a matching 2 part pendant with silver overlay. I don't have much history on this piece but I know it dates from the 1950s or earlier. The construction and style is similar to some 1920s necklaces but it has a 1940s-1950s look. The horn is a brown black with some streaks of yellow and grey. 21 inch circumference plus 3.x 1.25 inch 2 part pendant.
