Stunning hand crafted antique Edwardian 14K yellow gold elongated oval brilliant cut citrine and seed pearl ring.  Big dramatic presence, extremely  well made and heavy gold foil backed closed mounting. The top measures 22.23 x 17.84 mm., and the citrine, centered in the middle measures 14.00 x 7.60 mm.  The side profile is approximately ½ “ off the top of them finger and the band of the antique reproduction semi-mount, Is appropriately matched  with a twisted rope motif and scrolled side word that gently tapers to 4.80 mm. at the back of the shank.  The beautifully cut oval citrine is well faceted, and is mounted into a multi-pronged clawed setting, a truly gorgeous presentation.  It had a pleasing golden glow and is surrounded by fourteen golden pink 3 mm. seed pearls, individually claw set in gold cups. The citrine is in exceptional condition, exhibiting only very slight abrasion.  The semi-mount fits like a glove and unifies the ring into a totally well- balanced  20th century item of jewelry which has universal appeal and is specifically the birthstone for the month of November.
