Beautiful large brooch from the late Victorian period consisting of 5 tiers of half drilled natural Mediterranean salmon coral beads with sizes ranging from 12mm to 4mm attached to a 10k gold backing. There are no missing beads. There are a few traces of glue in spots on the back that date from earlier repairs. Several of the smallest beads may be replacements. Otherwise excellent original condition. There is a small hook on the back for watch or a chain along with the pin back. Measures 2" by 1-3/8". 13/16" thickness at the top of the dome. 15.4 grams.
