Antique amber trade beads from North Africa. Baltic amber has been traded in North Africa for hundreds of years. It has been particularly cherished for its butterscotch color.  Estimated 100-300 years old.    Largest bead is 29x24mm, the smallest 18x18mm.  12.7 grams


This is genuine amber. It has been tested in saltwater. Genuine amber has a specific gravity lighter than saltwater and will rise to the top and float. Amberoid substances will sink.
