Birds and an occasional face, Jatim bead, with a dark navy background and white and  red birds. Jatim beads were produced in Java, Indonesia from 900AD and earlier. These contemporary millefiore glass cane beads are excellent replicas of the ancient bead. Each one is handmade and finely done and therefore unique. 21-22mm. A very dark blue.  Indonesia.
