Pelangi is Javanese for rainbow, and the original Pelangi beads (also known as Jatim) were made in Java around the 6th century. This Pelangi bead is monochromatic,  deep blue  with white stripes.  These contemporary Indonesian beads are excellent replicas of the ancient bead. Each one is handmade and therefore unique.
