Antique Satsuma ceramic pendant in sterling silver setting strung with knotted vintage Carnelian and smooth ivory beads and finished with sterling silver gold wash vermeil box clasp with Carnelian stone. The Japanese Satsuma pendant is set in a sterling silver back with Satsuma chop. It has the characteristic cream color and fine crackle in the glaze. The enamel work is really fine depicting Japanese house surrounded by trees, foliage, a mountain in the background.. A gilt border completes the composition. Satsuma pendant is 2 3/16 x 1 5/8 inches. 18 inches in length. Excellent condition.
