From a dealer's estate. These strands of color treated freshwater pearls have a lovely luster and thick nacre. They have been color treated to produce a purple color and the original iridescence shines through. These pearls were produced in the early heyday of Chinese pearl production around 20 years ago. At that time rigorous standards required good pearl nacre thickness and luster. Average size is 5x3mm. 16 inch strand.
