Antique opaque carnelian agate carved fluted flat flower beads in a graduated strand of 5.  the beads are drilled horizontally making them ideal to lay flat on a bracelet or necklace.  20-25mm across and 7.5-10.8mm in thickness .   Holes vary from 1.3  to 2.3mm.  These were originally purchased in Nepal by a collector in the 1970s. The carnelian probably originated in China or India. There are 2 strands available.  The photos show the fronts and backs on each of the two strands
