rged101cn-Ornate Edwardian Carnelian and Silver Ring   Despite the gorgeous detail in this ring, it could have been made for a man or a woman. The lines are both bold and graceful. One thing that is a certainty is that this ring is a spectacular example of Edwardian jewelry that would be a beautiful addition to anyone’s collection. Curves and knobs of decorated and incised silver decorate every millimeter of the bezel and shank. A very slight off-center tilt can be seen on one of the areas where the symmetrical design joins together on the end of the ring, ageless proof that it was manufactured by hand. The bezel surrounding the 17x11 glowing carnelian is delicately toothed. There is so little wear to this ring that I think it was only worn a very few times. The stone is smooth and flat and the few tiny indentions I found under magnification may have come from the process of polishing and forming the gem, not from wear. The ring is a small size 3.5 and could be worn as a pinky ring or expanded slightly by a skilled jeweler who has experience with antique rings. Price: $135.00   In Stock! Qty:
