Here is a beautiful brooch designed by master designer Alfred Phillipe in the 1947 and produce in 1948. It is a 6 pointed star shape with all prong set crystal and sapphire blue rhinestones,. The brooch is gold plated with some wear to the plate on the back and the pin part itself. It measures 1 - 3/4 inches in diameter. Signed Trifari and marked Pat. Pend. The patent number is found to be 149587 by Alfred Philippe with patent granted on May 11, 1948
