pnvs850gh-Sterling and enamel artisan raven pin

This artisan pin has an oval shape with the cut out face hand-formed from sterling silver in a stylized design of a black bird or raven sitting on a leafy tree branch. A layer of matt-black enamel has been applied to the underlying metal to bring out the detail and also coats the back of the pin. The silver has some natural patina from age that can easily be shined up. The back of the pin has a sturdy C clasp and there is some very slight bending of the pin consistent with wear. There is also some wear to the black enamel on the back of the pin but not on the front. Along the edge are some faint hallmarks that do not appear to be in a western alphabet. But knowing the history of this pin's previous owner it is very likely to be arabic, Hindi, or Chinese. But I cannot read it and am speculating. This mystery pin is never the less very beautiful.
