pnvc784-Boar bristle Austrian hunting hat ornament turn of the century   This very attractive and well preserved hat ornament features a swath of boar hair. The hair varies in color along its length from deep brown to white. The metal base of the pin is decorated with the head of an eagle emerging from a spray of oak leaves, with an acorn and a flower. The back of the pin has a secure c-clasp that is in good working order. 11.3cm from the base to the tip of the hair . This pin was worn during the hunt and is Austrian in origin. A great find!
