This fine example is a hand crafted scorpion with blue sapphire cabochon eyes and blue sheen moonstone cabochons decorating the body. Blue sheen moonstones are a particularly fine moonstone found only in the country that was known at that time as Burma (political upheavals and multiple revolutions have changed the names of that region many times). The blue sheen is particularly pronounced in the the cabochons nearest the scorpion's claws. The stones have an excellent polish and the pin is in excellent condition with a c-clasp back. 52x23mm.
