Old Chinese goldwash pin in the shape of a phoenix. Pin is slightly domed Safety clasp This is a delicate piece and despite some wear to the gilt is in good condition for its age. It looks very much in the style of the older pins that were adorned with Kingfisher feathers but but there is no evidence that this pin had feathers. Early to mid 20th century import piece.
