Earthly Adornments - pdvc178-Silver plated Art Nouveau nude woman on water lily hat ornament

This wonderful and whimsical ornament was made circa 1900 and features a nude woman with flowing long hair reclining on a water lily.. Because it has 4 loops on the back, this ornament may have been made for the millinery industry to be sewn on to one of the elaborate hats of the period or may have been part of a ladies buckle. It has a lovely vintage patina and is in excellent vintage shape with no signs of wear. 9.5x8cm
