Earthly Adornments - pded62cn-Edwardian gold filled locket

Age has been kind to this lovely locket. Time has aged the metal to a mellow satin finish that shows to wonderful advantage the graceful script letters engraved on the front. One of the rings that held photos is still intact but slightly bent; the ring is not necessary for displaying your own photos which would slip nicely under the rim of the double photo compartment. Small lines and crosses have been marked into to wells that hold the photos as if a lady were counting down the days until her lover returns.
