Earthly Adornments - pdcs102-Retro slide

A really fine example of retro period costume jewelry; this slide has the modernist look that so characterizes the jewelry of the late 40s and 50s. Channel set square glass rubies run down the raised center of the slide flanked but red and crystal rounds set deep with inscribed "starlight" rays radiating from them. This slide is beautiful but does show some wear to the plating and the stones
