Earthly Adornments - nlch142-Antique ladies watch chain in gold wash

Either Victorian or Edwardian in age, this watch chain is in excellent condition with only slight wear to the gold wash. The shield-shaped slide in beautifully engraved with flowers, flourishes and a Greek key design. One thing that is very unusual is that the slide does not move easily, with gentle manipulation the slide can be moved up and down the length of the chain. The hook to hold the watch has not lost its spring and is ready to be attached to a pendant or watch. 71cm
