These beautifully matched natural bright-green jadeite 15x10 bezel set cabochons have a wonderful color and polish. The natural mottling of greens can be seen in these stones and they have the high polish characteristic of finely cut jade. Another mark of their quality is that they are set with open backs; jewelers often set fine jade in open back settings as proof that a dark-colored background is not being used to deepen the color of the stone to enhance its appearance. The bezels are surrounded by a simple decorative oval with filigree gold wire which enhances but does not detract from the jade.
