Earthly Adornments - erfn111-Sugalite and Pearl Ear Rings in 14kt Yellow Gold

Sugalite was discovered in 1944 by Dr. Ken-ichi Sugi of Japan where the first deposits of this gem were found. Sugalite has an amazing natural bright-purple color. This opaque stone is set off nicely by the tiny lustrous seed pearls surrounding the 2 12x10 oval bezel set sugalite stones. The pearls are surrounded by a border of gold wire filigree and a white pearl has been suspended for the very bottom. The back of the ear rings are secure posts. 25x15mm.
