buvc544gh-Georgian lady's shoe buckle in paste and white metal   This piece is a charming and rare artifact of the turn of the 19th century. Crafted in white metal and faceted paste stones, the buckle is in excellent shape with only one of the stones missing and a chip in one of the cushion cut stones. The shape of the buckle is a rectangle with rounded corners; on each of the walls of the rectangle is a delicate paste stone bow. The paste stones are table cushion cut withn a flat culet that gives a distinctive look to the paste stones characteristic of the Georgian period. The metal work is in very good shape and there is some darkening to the metal consistant with age. The slender metal bar that was threaded through two small metal tubes at the back of the buckle to hold it in place is missing. 6x5mm Price: $250.00   In Stock! Qty:
