A stunning Art Nouveau sterling silver belt. The buckle is repoussé with bas relief depicting a Muse with a Lyre. She is depicted in in profile in flowing gown plucking a lyre. The image is lifelike and perfectly proportioned. Excellent detail in the hands, face gown and delicate tendrils of hair.

Twenty three links are cast silver with bas relief detail depicting a profile female bust encircled in ornamental blossoms with scroll work.

The catch has a partial hallmark. Looks like EPNS. When worn the links culminate into a V as they attach to the buckle.

Tested for sterling silver. Weighs 150 grams. Belt is 32 inches. Buckle is 2.5 x 2.75. Links are 1-1/8 inch.
